The newly formed Wine Appreciation Group had its second meeting in late September, attended by 12 of its 16 members. An informal tasting of four french wines was enjoyed by those present who agreed to a number of general principles in the running of future meetings which would be a mix of member-run events and external activities. It was also thought that the current membership of 16 was the maximum that could be handled effectively in a single group.
