We meet in a local pub and, apart from social matters, discuss financial topics and choose a number of shares for our fantasy investments. We make use of a Practice Account supplied by 'The Share Centre' to record our purchases and they are revalued automaticallywithin this portfolio.
Fantasy Shares aim to reflect a portfolio of two thirds quality dividend shares and one third which represents speculative attempts to show quicker capital gains. We aim to buy as many shares of each company for £1000 including expenses and will consider when we sell them. NO MONEY is required as it is only for FUN but we all hope to LEARN in the process.
New members are welcome to the next meeting whihc takes place at 8:00 pm on Monday 22nd November.
