Activities

Next month (August) we will look at how we can use some of the capabilities in PHOTOSHOP ELEMENTS (or other software packages) to manipulate a flat boring landscape image into a striking black and white final image that you'd all be happy to hang on your wall at home as your own masterpiece.

For the following month (September) we'll have a look at a couple of simple techniques (given enough time !). Firstly, a way to solve the problem of getting a good family group snap when all you have are pictures where someone blinks, someone else looks away and the kids put on a silly face. Secondly, we'll look at a software way to overcome the annoyance of people wandering across in front of where you want to take that fantastic holiday photo.

Any Chess Valley U3A members are welcome to our meetings which are held on the 3rd Monday of the Month in the Little Chalfont Village Hall at10:00am. The next 2 meetings are planned for Monday August 15th and Monday September 19th. A laptop with a copy of PHOTOSHOP ELEMENTS or an equivalent
piece of software brought along to the meetings is an advantage. No previous knowledge or expertise is necessary as fully documented procedural help, starting images and on hand mentoring are provided for the meetings.

For further details contact Richard or Liz (see convener details
in newsletter or on the website).
