Activities

The U3A BIKERS are holding inaugural trail ride in Wendover Woods Thursday 12th March.   A leisurely 6 mile ride using designated bike trails is planned, meeting at main car park café at 10.30am.

The BIKERS membership now comprises 11 of varying capability, fitness & technical skill, however with lots of enthusiasm.  The appalling weather has prevented any sensible cycling to date but it is planned to schedule rides in areas around Chilterns Ridgeway, canal towpaths, Ickfield Way, Asheridge Forest, Ivinghoe & similar Chiltern Areas.

The initial rides will be leisurely until our BIKERS find their comfort zone & then we'll probably offer various options in distance/terrain/difficulty.  However the principle is for the rides to be enjoyable to all BIKERS.
